ups service

UPS Service

Was the UPS service for interacting with uninturruptable power supplies removed from Vista? I have an APC SmartUPS-1500 connected to my machine via serial cable.
In Windows XP x64 there is a UPS service that can be configured in the power control panel. When I searched for UPS.exe in the Windows directory, I didn't find anything. I can't seem to find this or the equivalent in Vista the power control panel seems to include only "power plans". Is there a new place to look or was this removed?
Thanks,
Chris

I also use a APC at work and I notice that a battery pops up in my notification area I think my connection is USB. If yours supports connecting through USB give it a try. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
